Taylor began her YouTube career by making ASMR videos with her mobile phone. Soon after reaching 50,000 subscribers, approximately 1 1/2 months after uploading her first video, she appeared in a video about gaming produced by PewDiePie. Taylor had stopped creating videos for her Youtube Channel at 2 months, and was close to 100,000 Subscribers. The reason for this was mostly due to technical issues with her brand new equipment and her awe-inspiring popularity. After taking a period of time, Taylor started producing new videos. Taylor made her popular ASMR ten triggers designed to help you sleep (35 millions views in August 2022). ASMR 10 Triggers To Help You Sleep was a different video that she uploaded in July 2017that has been watched 38 million times as of August 2022. Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube subscribers, she interviewed in an interview with Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK estimates that her YouTube advertising earnings were $1000 per week in February 2019.

Helfer was born in the rural area of Donalda, Alberta, Canada, to Dennis Elaine and Dennis Elaine Helfer. The two are born to German, English, Swedish and Norwegian heritage. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School in Stettler situated in Alberta. Her three sisters, Tammy, Tara and Trena resided and worked on their family's farm. At the age of 17, The agent from her modeling agency noticed the model while waiting in line at a theater.
